Contrasting Elements in Style
I had so much fun piecing together this look. My goal was to create a contrasting look in color and in style. As you can tell I'm wearing black & white clothing pieces that are edgy & feminine. I love the two combinations together. It becomes a little unexpected because the look doesn't fall on one side of the spectrum, it meets somewhere in the middle.
The long cardigan/sweater I'm wearing is by a designer I love to admire, Stella Carakasi. There is so much art and depth in her work; I think her clothing is incredible. There is not one day that I look at this cardigan and fall in love with it. The faux leather "top" I am wearing is actually a dress. I put a skirt over it to make it look like a body suit. The perforated shoes I am wearing contrast in color with the sweater but agree with its perforated knitting, making the two tie together. The red bag ties into the look as well because of its perforated front. Any color and style of bag will work if you want to recreate this look.
